There are many different ways to cleanse the colon, the most distinct one I’ve ever heard of being one performed by a chiropractor or other professional. They stick a tube up the anus and use a high powered water spray to supposedly spray inside the major organs such as the colon, pulling toxins out like that. Of course, they have shown that this could actually damage the lining of those organs. And when it comes right down to it, there are plenty of other dangerous or just ineffective method of colon cleansing. But what about enemas?
When you look at colon cleanse reviews for enemas, you will find that enemas are not exactly what you would think of for colon cleansing. Enemas are generally used to alleviate constipation and other related problems. You stick a fluid up the anus an squirt. It has been used in children so that they do not have to use drinks or pills. It has been used in adults with particularly difficult cases, and when they talk about “colon cleanse enemas” I for one pay attention.
But it’s much like using a laxative or a diuretic to try to “cleanse” your colon or other parts of your body. It simply does not work that way! When it comes to enemas, they will temporarily remove waste that has built up in the bottom of the body. It will remove constipation, which could seem much like colon cleansing. But if you read colon cleanse reviews, you will find that a colon cleanse works at a much deeper level, and use of enemas on a regular basis could also be quite damaging to the body.
Parasites are something that has been publicized largely by colon cleansing products. They all claim to flush out not only toxins, but actually parasites that are harming your body. They kill them off and then they ultimately flush them out. But how legitimate is this?
Well we all know to some degree that we have had parasites in our bodies. They can come from sources such as uncooked meat, and quite frankly they can infest the body and cause various problems and side effects. The best known parasite would be the tapeworm. But really, how common are parasites, especially tapeworms? I mean I’ve heard stories for one about at least one person losing extreme amounts of weight because of parasites they did not know were there. But are these just freak stories?
No, actually not. Most bacteria is good granted. But there are always bad bacteria bringing up problems we wouldn’t normally associate with bacteria. Likewise, there are always problems associated with parasites that we would not normally necessarily associate with parasites. They aren’t always extreme, but they are there.
Therefore, how common are parasites? They are extremely common, we just don’t always realize that they are there. Therefore, when you use a good colon cleanser that really can flush out parasites, you are doing one of the best possible things for yourself that you could possibly achieve. Parasites are doing more than you would think and frankly speaking, anybody could benefit from a cleanse.
As previously stated, fruits can be an excellent source of fiber, and I would now like to take a look at a few more that have quite a bit of fiber in them. First I would like to take a look at a few berries that have high levels of fiber. They are probably two of the most commonly eaten berries in the United States today. First, there is the strawberry, which is a staple in any grocery store. After a simple wash, strawberries are absolutely delicious.
They are usually just eaten straight, but can be eaten dipped in chocolate, mixed in cereals, as well as a variety of other ways. The other berry is the raspberry, which is tasty as well. A little darker and a little sweeter than the strawberry I think, it is also delicious when just eaten straight up. Both of these berries also make great smoothies, which allow them to be sipped through a straw as a beverage. Another fibrous fruit is the orange, which is also extremely popular. Orange juice is one of the most popular juices in the world, and used almost everyday as part of a good breakfast. Oranges are also a good snack, or dessert from a big lunch.
There are many foods that are high in fiber, and one group includes nuts, beets, and seeds. Two of the most fibrous foods that exist in the world fall into this category, and they are lima beans and lentils. Children seem to hate two foods, and they are broccoli, and lima beans. However when lima beans are cooked right, they can be extremely delicious. Lentils also can be tasty, and a popular use is in lentil soup.
Other beans that are particularly high in fiber include kidney beans, soy beans, and black beans. All these can be used commonly in many dishes, including chilies and Mexican foods. Next let’s take a look at the many nuts that are high in fiber. When you’re at a baseball game chomping down on some peanuts, you are actually helping your body get the fiber it needs. Peanuts are high in fiber, as are some other common snacks.
These include pistachios, walnuts, almonds, and cashews. All of these nuts are delicious, and with a limited amount of salt are healthy too. Last I would like take a look at the seeds that are high in fiber. Pumpkin seeds are (which are always very popular around Halloween), as well as my personal favorite, the best snack there is in my opinion, sunflower seeds.
